Rarity
Here we have come to define perhaps the most important concept for all collectors or investors: rarity.
People have always been looking for rare objects, which very few can have, and it is precisely this scarcity that usually attaches great value to these objects.
But let's see how the concept of rarity is applied in the world of Bitmonds: as we have seen, bitmonds are unique diamonds in characteristics, but be careful, the number of different colors for each collection being limited to 256 (in the future we can expect some surprises about this number!), being the number of Bitmonds generated for each limited collection (in the first collection about 45000 pieces were generated), and being the generation of Bitmonds random, what we should expect is that on average there should be around 175 Bitmonds for each color. But all in random processes there are fluctuations, that is there may be Bitmonds with a number of pieces generated greater or less than 175. Here it is finally possible to express the concept of rarity in the world of Bitmonds.
In fact, Bitmonds are defined as rare, because thanks to these fluctuations they have a very low number of pieces generated. The most striking example is the Bitmonds called Ramen, which has a generated number of pieces equal to 73.
Let's think about the consequences of this fact ... If a Bitmonds of the first collection has a number of pieces equal to 73 this means that the maximum number of first complete collections in the world can be at most equal to 73 consequently the maximum number of people worldwide who can have a Ramen are 73. Pretty exclusive right?
This is due to the great interest on the market and the immense value that is attributed to this Bitmonds (if you want to deepen this point click here ).
But certainly there is not only Ramen there are also other very rare and coveted Bitmonds, for this reason I decided to leave you the ranking of the top 20 Bitmonds by rarity of the first collection.
And do you have any of these Bitmonds? What are your favorites, how much do you value them, let me know in the comments below!
