BITMONDS GOT TALENT ep 3
Here we are now in the third episode of the most successful format of the blog! Today's interviewed is Gianluca, another user who has always stood out for his sympathy, seriousness and immense honesty. It was really a pleasure for me to interview him and I'm sure you will be interested in this interview.
1) How did you find out about the Bitmonds project?
Through a friend who advised to take at least one bitmonds from the first collection. I didn't follow the advice and started generating many more.
2) Your favorite color?
Buddha Gold, my first Bitmonds generated, it was an E2
3) The favorite Bitmonds of your collection?
Shocking Pink D2 ID 7k
4) Which Bitmonds would you like to have?
Buddha Gold of all colorscale and crown from D1 to K5.
5) What is your personal ranking of the evaluation criteria? (ID, rarity, colorscale and crown)
Having no interest and possibility to finish the first one, my ranking is: low ID, D1 and E1, rare
6) What is your collection style: do you prefer to complete a collection, have fewer but quality pieces or a mix of the two?
Certainly quality pieces that could have great value over the years, and others pieces that I would like to keep for myself.
7) Any advice you would give to newcomers?
Go easy. If you are a true collector, you will know how to be patient and get what you are looking for, on the contrary, you could hurt yourself very much, risking to spend a lot and sell for less.
8) What topics would you like to be treated in the blog?
It would be interesting to understand if collectors were willing to have a fixed value table of the bitmonds of the first collection.
In my opinion, a low ID k5 should have a value similar to a high D ID. Then the variables would play their weight based on the quality and rarity of the diamond of course.
9) Any advice that you would give to the founders of the Bitmonds project?
I'm afraid they are making too many changes on the market, the best thing was being able to buy and sell at the growth value. If you don't live on the computer, all the work connected to trades is sometimes long and boring. Before you could buy what was on sale, and the multiplier made sense to exist. In any case, I find communication with collectors inefficient, useless to reassure if certain data are not concrete.
10) What news would you like to see in the future in the project?
It would be nice to see different collections in the future. For example, limited numbers (only 1000 from the third collection) or time-limited (only one week), or even with the ability to generate only 10/20 bitmonds in total. By doing this it will be possible to give a lot of motivations to the collectors. Knowing instead that the intention on the second is to reach 100 / 150k makes me think that they just want to make money.
