January in the sign of Ramen
January was a very important month in the Bitmonds project: in addition to the release of the new collection, the free market among collectors also opened. This allowed, as in every existing market, to give a value to the various Bitmonds through the law of supply and demand and no longer through the algorithm used to calculate the recommended value (If you are not aware of the meaning of the algorithm and recommended value click here) .
With the free market, the protagonists of this first phase were the so-called rare Bitmonds (to know the concept of rarity in the world of bitmonds click here ). And who could be the undisputed protagonist of this first market phase? Obviously the rarest Bitmonds of all: his majesty Ramen .
But what makes this Bitmonds so special? As you have probably guessed, its rarity, in fact being the rarest Bitmonds of the most exclusive collection, that is, the first, with only 73 pieces generated, was, and will be for many the biggest dream to make their collection truly exclusive.
But now the question that everyone is asking ... How much is this Ramen worth? In the moment of greatest market activity, just think that an auction for a Ramen of colorscale K, that is the least pure of all (if you do not know the concept of purity click here) has seen the final price of 990 euros .
Incredible right? And think that the free market opened for just a month, and still seeing the low number of users and the enormous potential of the project I let you imagine the potential of this Bitmonds.
At the moment the market is experiencing a flat phase, but as I said, being everything at the beginning it is really normal that phases of euphoria are followed by slightly flatter phases. Ramen still continues to have an excellent market.
A final personal comment: I never expected that within a year from the start of the Bitmonds project, digital diamonds could already have been sold to such prices. In general, this is an excellent sign accompanied by the fact that the digital collectibles market is growing rapidly.
Furthermore, in general, all the rare Bitmonds, not only Ramen, are performing very well on the market, even in a phase of physiological decline, due, as mentioned, to the very young age of the project.
